Tasting Notes
A classic and complex old world style Cabernet Sauvignon featuring layers of dark fruit flavors, such as black currant and blackberries, alongside gentle spice flavors of green peppercorn and bell pepper. Pairs beautifully with a meaty dish such as a pepper crusted steak.
Winemaker’s Notes
Coming from the Block VII section of Pine Mountain Vineyards on Pine Mountain. This unique vineyard is planted in the center of a five-thousand-year-old volcanic crater resting at approximately 2,200-foot elevation. Much of the richness of this wine can be attributed to a combination of the high elevation viticulture and volcanic soils seen on the vineyard.
